Welcome to the Recruitment Industry Benchmarking ("RIB") Index.

Our mission is to provide our members with the most useful, valid comparative analysis of our industry's performance, so that they can see how they rate on a range of measurements ("Criteria") to identify where they can improve the efficiency, management and value of their business.

On a monthly basis, the RIB Index rates each member's performance against the Index as a whole and the peers in their specific recruitment sector, where available. This feedback is packaged into monthly Reports that enable members to identify where they can improve performance.

As membership grows the value of the Index increases with the bigger comparative sample and the scope for more sector-specific comparisons. Also, as membership increases, the cost of subscriptions can be reduced once the overhead of running the Index has been fully covered.

Members undertake to abide by a Code of Conduct (the "RIB Protocol") and RIB undertakes a random audit sample to ensure the accuracy of input information is maintained. The confidentiality of input information is also assured.

Fifty Founder Members participated in creating the initial Pilot Study, covering 25 key measurements. This has since been extended and the RIB Index now covers 32 monthly Criteria. It is intended that it will soon cover an even broader range of Criteria, including key activity ratios.

The administration of the RIB Index is carried out by Recruitment Industry Benchmarking Limited ("RIB Ltd"). There are Members' Meetings at least twice yearly to ensure members' wishes are met and provide cohesion between them and RIB Ltd.
